Stacia is a compassionate therapist who has worked with people of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, domestic violence, chronic illness, grief and addiction. Stacia uses mindfulness, strengths based, trauma informed and somatic strategies.  Treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing (SE™).  Additionally, Stacia is trained in Motivational Interviewing, CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality) and QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) train the trainer. Stacia is a graduate of the University of Washington with a BA in Women’s Studies and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highland’s University. Licensed in New Mexico and Colorado, Stacia has worked in many Social Work capacities including harm reduction, case management, outreach, directing, program development and is an NM board approved supervisor.  Additionally, Stacia completed the 40 hour Mediation program at University of New Mexico School of Law.

Stacia believes we all have the answers within us and with positivity, acceptance and guidance we can find solutions together. Profound changes can be made if we slow down and listen to our bodies and intuition. Stacia enjoys helping people find joy, meaning and connection in life. In her spare time Stacia can be found reading, gardening, cooking, skiing, traveling and at hot yoga.
